Rivers

Rivers is a series of paintings where I explore my fascination with journeying through landscape as an act of self-inquiry, akin to going on a vision quest or pilgrimage to a sacred site.  In these paintings the rivers are depicted like tuning forks echoing across the surface of the Earth.

This body of work is her celebration of ecological systems as an interconnected whole and a reminder that our physical, psychological and spiritual bodies are embedded in a relationship to the natural world.
